  1. How old does my child need to be to attend Summer Jam?

Summer Jam is for children ages 3 (who are potty trained) through 12 (students who are entering the 6th grade in the fall).

  1. What do I do to check-in when I arrive with my child?

You will check your child in at the designated Check-In desk beginning at 8:00 a.m. EACH DAY. You will then take your child to the designated seating area for his/her group and meet your child’s group leader. It is not necessary to bring your online confirmation form with you.

  1. Can my child be in the same group as their friends?

Yes, however, we do not take requests in advance for friend groups due to the overwhelming volume of children.  You can plan to meet with the parent of your child’s friend the first morning and go through the designated Check-In desk together in order for your children to be in the same group. Communicate to the Check-In volunteer that you request your child to be in the same group. Children are asked to be in a similar age group.

  1. Can I stay and see some of the program?

Volunteers are welcome to stay. Otherwise, parents are asked to return at dismissal only.

  1. Can my child just meet me outside at the end of the morning?

You must pick your child up in their small group area at 11:30 each day. You must present your child’s claim ticket to their small group leader.  If you have designated someone else to pick up your child, you need to fill out proper information during online registration.

  1. What if my child will be picked up by another individual?

If you have designated someone else to pick up your child, you need to fill out proper information during online registration.  No phone calls will be permitted.

  1. Will childcare be provided before or after Summer Jam?

Childcare will not be provided before or after Summer Jam unless you are volunteering with us. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. each morning, and the program will end each day at 11:30. Please be prompt when picking up your child.

  1. Will lunch or snacks be served during Summer Jam?

Snacks will be served each day. Lunch will not be provided. If your child has a food allergy, please make sure to notify the check-in volunteer when you check your child in for Summer Jam.

  1. What age can my child be a leader?

Children entering 7th grade and up can be a leader. Your child must be 16 years or older in order to lead a group.

  1. What if I can volunteer but not every day?

We need lots of volunteers! Even if you cannot commit to volunteering every day, we would love to have your help! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact your campus coordinator at

  1. Will my child receive a t-shirt?

T-shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
